Medals & Trophies
by SilverNyte inwhen i became a jw and started getting serious about it, i discovered that i should throw all my medals and trophies out.
it was such a long time ago and i don't remember why now.
could someone explain to me why i had to do that?

Perhaps the FDS needs to set an example and explain how they are going to refuse and throw away their crowns when their Boss goes to reward them for their services..........yeah...ok......

will the thief appreciate having his possesions he has worked hard to earn, returned to those who fell victim to him and his schemes?

What effect would it have if all forms of preying were outlawed and punished including the advertising companies who send people to places who will rip them them off, endorsing and selling them as prey to be eaten. Yet suffering no consequences for doing so....rather instead being paid handsomely, and hired by other companies needing fresh meat as well. Or "success".
What if a company had to rely soley upon W.O.M. advertising to become successful rahter than pay someone trusted or famous to endorse them to continue to keep fresh faces they have not screwed over to continue pouring in?
Would it be a negative or positive change?

by The Dragon inbeen going through my head lately....if you try to prevent them from doing what they want...they see you as the enemy...but are you?.
if you take away their freedom to do so.....are they no longer free?
will they hate you...or thank you when they come to their senses?.

will my Mom be in some big trouble?
by freebird2000 init has been 13 years since i flew the coop,so i am not sure what changes or might i say new insight has come about.. here is the problem.
my mom who has been a witness for 18 years and is 73 years old has lymphoma of the brain.. in order to have a chance at all she is taking chemo and has decided to accept blood platlets.. she is still a loyal j.w.
and nothing has changed to her.she understands what she is doing but evidently thinks it won't matter.. under these circumstances does anyone know what or if they will take disciplinary action?.

WTS is God in their view until someone like Him relieves them or proves them otherwise right?
The government has to love thenm as well...they command their followers to obey them and do everything they say...while staying out of their affairs and allowing their corruption to remain unhindered.
They have no predators...they are at the top of the food chain along with their guess they present as inside information from God.
Only God Himself can silence and defeat them imo.

Refuting a JW, "But we follow the bible" - Matthew 24:45
by jgnat inrecently i saw a post from a jw who challenged his opposers to find anything wrong with the witnesses, "we follow the bible.
" i say there's following the bible and then there's understanding, isn't there?
can we say that someone is following the bible if the verse is taken out of context or stretched to justify all kinds of behavior?

I am pretty sure the WTBTS has plenty of support from the governments as well considering they command all those who follow them to obey them and stay out of their affairs.
How in the hell could they view them as a threat or anything but an ally to them?

I am sure they would never say sucha thing about themselves..and their competetiors are going to insist they are to try to get you to follow them...Oops...looks like you may have to do your own research and draw your own conclusion and answer to that..or risk being decieved by your chosen leaders and the things they tell you.
